Shop page
📄️ Integration
The most common integration is Product Filter on the Shop page. WooCommerce developers and crew wants you to use the Shop page, so who are we to argue. But siriously, this is the only proper way to use WooCommerce and most of WooCommerce extensions, so this is highly advised. Anything that the Shop or product archives lack is manageable and there are very few scenarios in which using such structure can be an overkill. Still it is highly advised to use this approach. Product Filter works with any setup, but for everything to function in a way it was designed to, and we speak about WooCommerce here, this is the only correct way.
📄️ Widget
Simplest way to install the Product Filter is the widget option. To achieve this installation navigate to the Widgets screen. To a sidebar that is displayed on your Shop page add the + Product Filter legacy widget.
📄️ Actions and hooks
Usual widget sidebar integration doesn't work for you? With the custom hooked display action you can get more complex results. One of the most favorite one is the so called "Filter on Top". This means the filter will be above your products.
📄️ Template overrides
This is the third option on how you can display the Product Filter in your Shop. This is more a legacy option and you shouldn't really use it, but there's nothing wrong with it.
